בִּיקּוּרm. (בָּקַר) 1) examination, investigation. Pes.96a; Arakh.13b; Men.49b טעון ב׳ requires examination (as to physical defects). Ḥull.II, 3 (32a) כדי ב׳ as much time as the examination (of the slaughtering knife) requires; ib. 9a; (ib. 32a ביקרו של חכם, read ביקור חכם or בִּיקּוּרוֹ של).
